Bladder is a muscular organ situated in the pelvis, the lower abdomen which stores urine produced by the kidneys. The wall of bladder is made up of muscles and the urinary epithelium. There are two ureters at the back of the bladder which carries urine from the kidneys to the bladder. The part which carries urine out of the body is known as urethra, which is situated at the bottom of the bladder. Bladder cancer occurs when the cells or tissues of bladder multiplies in an uncontrollable manner. As their number increases it leads to the development of the tumor in the bladder. This tumor is known as bladder cancer. Bladder cancer is more often found in older people than in younger people. Bladder cancer is more common in men than women.
